CASE PHOTOS AND INFORMATION

This cemetery dates back to 1714 and is the final resting ground for the most Mayflower descendants than any other cemetery outside of Massachusetts. The cemetery is still is use today. Besides the 1000's of marked graves, there are many unmarked graves from burials made at night and left unmarked during the 1832 cholera epidemic. The original church here was a log cabin and it was built on what was known to be an old Indian burial ground.

We enjoyed reading the history written on the older stones and learned a lot about the people who used to live here. We also obtained positive EMF readings and photos in an area where we spent an extra amount of time reading the beautiful inscriptions on the stones. We also observed a cloud of ectoplasm mist when we first entered the cemetery.
