CASE INFORMATION AND BACKGROUND

This was SJGR's 2nd investigation of this historic house of worship. Built in 1726, then rebuilt in 1805, the 1st Presbyterian Church has many historic graves and is the resting place of a Hessian commander. The church and it's parking lot are built on top of many graves and SJGR received permission to conduct an investigation to determine if paranormal activity was occurring there.

The investigators obtained an above average amount of EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena). SJGR also obtained multiple unexplainable readings on our EMF meters, which indicate a fluctuation in the electromagnetic field with no natural source found. There were also many impressions picked up in the building. One investigator felt the presence of many children and teenagers. There were so many, she felt it was like a hospital or orphanage environment. The children seemed to be from poor families and this investigator felt the children had ripped or old clothes and worn shoes.

AUDIO CLIPS

9:50pm - Investigator Jenkins started an audio recording attempting to record EVPs in fellowship hall. He said "thanks" and a voice answers back with "welcome". Shortly after this recording all three team members heard what sounded like someone walking near the kitchen. Click here to play EVP

11:33pm - Investigator Jenkins was conducting a group EVPs recording attempt. He said “if you can say something out loud, into our recorders …” and a voice whispers “there is a difference”. Click here to play EVP
