CASE INFORMATION AND BACKGROUND
The Grand Army of the Republic Civil War Museum and Library occupies a three story brick building built by Dr. John Ruan in 1796. It is home to a unique and historic collection of Civil War and Grand Army of the Republic artifacts, books, and memorabilia. In 1985, the building was placed on the Register of National Historic Sites and designated as the “Ruan House.”
The SJGR team obtained an above normal amount of positive EMF readings and motion sensor readings. They also obtained a high level of EVPs.
Almost all investigators present felt strong energy throughout the main building. Most being residual, but also some spirit presence was recorded. With so many items including personal artifacts in one location, a lot of residual energy could be expected.
AUDIO CLIPS
9:35pm - Investigator Juliano started an audio recording attempting to record EVPs. He obtained a "B" class EVP of a voice saying what sounds like "what's that" or "what's up". Click here to play EVP
