CASE INFORMATION
This was SJGR's second investigation of the Grand Army of the Republic Museum
and Library,
located in the heart of Philadelphia, PA.
A much higher number of Electronic
Voice Phenomena (EVPs) were recorded during this investigation
than on our previous visit, many of which
were interactive, answering questions posed by SJGR investigators. While
lesser amounts of anomalous
EMF and
motion sensor
readings were recorded on this trip, results of the investigation were still in
the above normal range. Two
temperature
changes were recorded, and nearly double the amount of
photos were
deemed positive than from the 2006 investigation.
Again, many investigators sensed energy from both residual and spirit
activity in the building.

here.
AUDIO CLIPS9:51pm – Investigator Kurkis recorded
this EVP after the Tri-Field EMF Detector registered an anomaly. After
saying, “someone thinks they saw someone go by out here” this voice is
recorded saying “I didn’t come through here” Click here to play EVP.
10:02pm - Investigator S. Carroll recorded this
EVP on the third floor after asking the question, "Is there some other object
you feel you have to stay here to protect?”. It is a spirit voice replying
what sounds like a long, drawn-out "No”.
Investigator Davis received the impression of this answer at the time of the
recording. Click here to play EVP.
10:42pm - Investigator E. Smith
recorded this EVP after Investigator Beaty received an impression of “war
between the states” while Investigator Smith was asking questions if they were
in the Civil War. It is an interactive EVP of a male voice saying "Yes" about 6 seconds after
Investigator Smith asks, “Can you tell us what year it is?”
. Click here to play EVP.
10:45pm - Investigator S. Carroll recorded this EVP at the moment
when Investigator Davis opens a toolbox in the basement. It is the voice
of a male saying “Don’t open it!”
11:07pm
- Investigator Clendaniel records this EVP after seeing a male dressed in a grey
uniform following Investigator K. Smith. After saying flash to indicate
she was able to take a photo, a man's voice is heard saying "Take me".

11:07pm - Investigator Clendaniel took this photo after seeing a
white male with scruffy facial hair and wearing a grey uniform follow
Investigator K. Smith in the Meeting Room, trying to get her attention.

11:09pm - Investigator M. Carroll took this photo
after Investigator K. Smith feels chilled, and Investigator Clendaniel senses
someone in very interested in Investigator Smith. |

11:48pm – Investigator Davis took this photo after
recording a 10 degree temperature spike. |
