CASE INFORMATION

This was SJGR's third investigation of the historic Smithville Mansion site.  Click HERE to see the results of past investigations or visit Smithville Mansion Complex for history information.

After multiple investigations and SJGR's appearance at the 2006 Spirits and Spirits Fund Raiser, our group was asked to come in and fully investigate the mansion and outbuildings.  Monthly investigations are scheduled through Summer of 2007.   On this investigation we set up wireless IR video cameras in the Mansion and also conducted multiple EVPs recordings.   Other teams were investigating the old school house and the barn.

Nearly 9% of the investigators' photos were deemed positive which is above average and indicates there is an unusually high amount of energy in the buildings during this investigation.   There were above average amounts of positive EMF readings and EVPs obtained.

AUDIO CLIPS

9:10pm - Investigator M. Carroll recorded this EVP after asking, “Do you have a favorite spot where you like to stay?” a voice is heard whispering, “Home”.  Click here to play EVP

10:04 pm – Investigator Davis starts to continuously run his digital voice recorder for the next 9 minutes.    The team notices that they are seeing orbs on the IR video cameras set up in the North and South Bedrooms.  Orbs are starting to regenerate when investigator Jenkins returns to the north bedroom and they are following toward where investigator Jenkins is located. They changed direction whenever investigator Jenkins moves to someplace else.    This EVP is a women’s voice saying “Yeah”.
